Just one ordinary mom , just one ordinary day

Welcome to our life

Mr mom

on December 18, 2012

Oh dear oh dear. The way kids see things is sometimes just to funny.
A little bit of back found for this story : My BFF and I started a small home business that specializes in children accessories such as head bands, clip, crocheted hats ect which are all hand made.
So for today’s episode. I am standing at the bus stop freezing my toushie off and the bus pulls up . M get off the bus and excitedly exclaims to me ” mom I need you to see” .. Oh dear what has my little man concocted up in his head for me to do now I think . Cautiously I ask “oh yeah and what would that be?”
“Well … A headband broke at school today and I told her that you could fix it by sewing it back together”
“Oh you did?” I ask sighing slightly
“Yup I told her that you sew headbands for your shop store all the time and she put it in my back back”
” oh ok ” I say
We get into the house and I open his backpack to sure enough find this little pink head band. I pull it out thinking to myself , there is nothing wrong with this headband. Did he tell her that I could put a bow on it for her..
So I asked M why him and his friend would think that the headband was broken . He reaches in his back pack and pulls out w matching bow that had come of
” you can fix it right mom ” he asks looking at me so hopefully.
How can i say no to that little face.
So tonight’s project I will be fixing my little boys best friends headband. My first thought is how sweet he was to think of helping her my second thought was he’s only four is this the start of volunteering me for a life time of falling for that sweet little face and getting sucked into something that I really don’t want to do ? At least tonight I can be my sons hero . Who knows how long I’ll have till I’m not his hero anymore.
